This past Saturday several of us traveled to Lucedale MS for the Melon Patch Quilt Guild's annual quilt show.  The following pictures speak louder than words.

Carolyn's Comfort Quilts

Last Saturday several of us got together to sew quilt tops to be turned into quilts for local cancer patients.  The fabric being used was special.  A lady in our community, Carolyn, is very ill with the dreaded C.  She asked Joan of Block Therapy Quilt Store to come and get her fabric and turn it into quilts for those going through chemo in a local facility.  While she is struggling herself, she is thinking of others, knowing how cold everyone is when they are having treatments.  All quilts made from her fabric will be labeled "Carolyn's Comfort Quilts."
