Cobble Court Quilters Retreat

I have just returned from a fantastic weekend with 16 women that I had never met.  We became friends almost instantly.  The group came together as the result of Marie Bostwick's website - where good books and quilting go hand-in-hand. 

We talked, we ate, we sewed, we ate some more.....

We also visited the town of Litchfield, the setting for a series of books by Marie in a cozy little town called New Bern.  We visited "Evelyn's Quilt Shop", ate at "Charlies Grill", saw the post office and other sites that brough the books to life.

We called ourselves the Cobble Court Quilters -

A magical weekend with wonderful women from various backgrounds with two things in common - quilting and reading.
