Happy Wednesday!! Greetings to two new followers. Glad to have you.
On my last post I mentioned that I had reached my 100th Blog Post and I was going to have a giveaway to celebrate.
Now for the giveaway -- I will be giving away a pattern from Elisa's Backporch called "Turtle Party!" and two of my handcrafted Stilettos.
To be eligible to win one of the prizes:
-- you must be/become a follower (become a follower before you leave a comment). You do not have to have a blog to be a follower.
-- leave a comment on this post saying such and share your favorite quilt block that you have worked on this summer.
If you have not sewn one of your favorites, then tell us which one you plan to sew. I will pick a winner on July 30. There will be three winners - so go for it!!
I hope this will be fun for everyone.
Happy Sewing,
Sandra

DeleteCongrats on your 100th post :) I am a follower. This summer I worked on two quilts...one the filmstrip quilt and the other (to be posted on tomorrow) is Kitchen Windows from Elizabeth Hartman (LOVE her)!!! Still planning on starting the great granny squares...waiting to purchase the white fabric. And at some point, I am hopoing to do the Beginner's Quilt Along. Too much I want to do, too little time...

ReplyDeleteI like your blog, I have been working with jelly roll strips to make quilts for Youth Services this summer.
Congrats on your 100th post.
I see we are both doing the BQA. My favorite block that I have been working on this summer has been Michigan Crossroads. It is for an ugly fabric challenge. I am needing to get back to putting this top together.

Hi Sandra!! Congratulations!! I love your blog. My favorite block has an unknown name to me but it was the block that made the new mystery 26 from Mysteries for Relay with Marge. I love the quilt and how it turned out. Im sewing up the rows now. I also love turtles...
ReplyDeleteHello! Just became a follower but have been reading your blog for a long time. A friend asked if I could help her piece a top so I have been working on a 'Paducah Nine Patch' block based on a quilt by Pat Speth. There are 29 pieces in each 8" block. Her color scheme contains paisley prints...the blocks are so neat!! Sue,NJ
ReplyDeleteCongratulations!!
ReplyDeleteI'm a new follower!
I'm in the middle of a swoon quilt and I want to start granny squares soon!
Sandra-you go girl-100 blog postings-that's awesome. I just finished a mystery from a class I took at the Vermont Quilt Fest-it had lots of flying geese in it so i guess that is my block .
ReplyDeleteI am currently just working on a random patchwork quilt. I had a ton of scrubs with really pretty patterns on them and I cut them up into squares to make the quilt.

Hi, Sandra! My favorite block has always been simple 9 patches. So much you can do with them!
