While I cannot label myself as a beginning quilter, I thought it might be fun to join in the Beginner's Quilt Along and just get back to the basics. I completed Blocks 1 and 2 which are shown below. I am using Sunkissed by Sweetwater for Moda. I really love the fabric in this bundle, so I decided to use the leftovers from the other quilt blocks, made for a previous quilt-along, to make the blocks in this one.

Hello from a MS transplant now living in GA. I was surfing this morning and ran across your blog. I love your first two blocks! I'm about to begin this quilt along, mainly to become familiar with a new machine ;-) I'm looking forward to seeing your next block(s).
